Mulvanity Davis is a visual artist and calligrapher who works out of her own
studio in Nashua, New Hampshire. Her interest in art began when she was a
teenager and she went on to study art in college. After graduating she
specialized in teaching art in the public school system in her hometown, a
career which she enjoyed for the next 33 years. Upon retirement she opened her
own studio, continuing to teach children as well as adults, but concentrating on
getting back to drawing, painting and calligraphy full time.
As a painter Davis works
mainly in oil and watercolor. In her realistic style, whether it is a still
life, portrait or land/seascape, she endeavors to convey to the viewers the
marvels and beauty she has witnessed in her travels at home and abroad. Working
generally from her own sketches and photographs she aspires to relate the
pleasures and emotions her subjects evoked in her and possibly recall for the
onlookers their own memories of people, places and things.

designing invitations, business cards, logos, ketubahs, proclamations,
